Together we can give music to the children of the Middle East
Amongst the refugee populations of the Middle East there are at least 1,5 million children. For them it is very hard to think of a better life, a better future. Many of these children live in warzones and have to cope with horrific, traumatic events and abject poverty.
The charitable foundation Music in Me uses the power of music to give these children at least hope for a better future, peace and happiness. Music soothes and heals, gives joy and touches the soul. And the language of music can be understood by everyone and is therefore a perfect beacon on the road to peace.
Music in Me works with a large network of aid organizations and groups involved in teaching and making music at a local level. Together we establish long-term projects such as the music schools in the refugee camp Rashidieh near Beirout, in camp Yarmouk near Damascus and in Silwan, a deprived area of Jerusalem.
Our aim is to establish many more projects and so be able to reach out to many, many more refugee children. We cannot do this without your generosity. Please help us to help these children and send a donation to Music in Me.
